At Tierra Mia Organics, every bar of soap begins with care, intention, and one guiding belief - what we put on our skin should be pure, nourishing, and safe.
Before I founded Tierra Mia Organics in 2010, I spent years as a holistic skincare practitioner helping my clients achieve naturally healthy skin. I saw firsthand how many "skincare" products were loaded with harsh detergents and synthetic ingredients that stripped the skin's natural oils.
I became aware of the many benefits of goat's milk for the skin. Goat's Milk has been used for centuries to nourish and soften the skin - it has been a natural anti-aging remedy even before the term "anti-aging existed.
Over the years of being in the beauty industry, I've seen that not only soaps and body washes contained unnecessary and even harmful chemical ingredients, but even products like eye creams and serums had ingredients that harm the sensitive skin tissue around the eye. Eye creams that contained retinols, or AHA's; these promote fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.
Making products that contained natural lactic acid and using real and "skin safe" oils is key to helping the skin and not harm it.
